What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a self-starting and biased-towards-action Associate Product Manager to become a key player for the product team. This individual will run product initiatives and provide critical insights that will drive the strategic delivery of platform features and capabilities. The Associate Product Manager will work closely with every function of the Company including Engineering, Product, Operations, Customer, and Sales among others. The ideal candidate is both a go-getter and a taskmaster with a high capacity for growth and an ability to adapt and move fast.
What you’ll do:
- The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the development and launch of data-driven energy products that help businesses and consumers make smarter energy choices.
- Ensure that product features are delivered on time, aligned with customer or stakeholder needs, and are of the highest quality. Own specific features or components within the product. Work with engineering teams to build, and ship features that directly impact users.
- Drive the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap by translating high-level product requirements into clear, actionable tasks. Track progress and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage sprint ceremonies and workflows, keeping the team on track and flagging potential blockers early.
- Maintain a clear overview of project status and drive initiatives from start to finish.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, customer success and design stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer feedback.
- Maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, product requirements, and release notes. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
- Candidates should be familiar with common product management principles, Agile tools such as Jira, as well as demonstrate an understanding of Agile frameworks.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, computer science or IT related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a product management or similar role, with a focus on execution in a tech or data-driven environment.
- Good business acumen, motivated team player and action-oriented; attentive to detail, skilled in reporting, quantitative data analysis, documentation and presentation
- Knowledge of running sprints and managing timelines.
- Expertise using Jira, Asana and other common agile planning tools
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort working in a high-growth, constantly changing environment
- Experience working with technical teams
Nice-to-haves:
- MBA in a top program
- Experience in energy, climate, or sustainability industries
- Experience working in a global environment
- Experience working on data products in a B2B SaaS context
