About the role

BetterWay™ blood testing by Babson Diagnostics is looking for a creative and versatile social media specialist who can craft engaging content that builds awareness and trust across our various social media audiences. This individual will work closely with our marketing, commercial and product teams to bring our story to life in various formats.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of content creation and managing social media tasks from ideation to execution, with experience in community management
  • You have a passion for content creation with the skills to elevate the BetterWay’s social media presence to build a following of raving fans
  • You are excited about healthcare, changing patient care and the opportunity to make blood testing not just relevant but cool
  • You are a self-starter that can work independently to execute ideas via graphic design, photography, and video content that fits the BetterWay brand. We are looking for a team player that can work effectively cross-functionality in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • You are always up to date on the latest trends and best practices, especially with Instagram, and seen as an early adopter
  • 2 years’ relevant digital marketing or social media experience, managing DTC social media channels, either in an in-house position or within an agency
  • Experience marketing a DTC or business/personality/brand with a highly engaged audience
  • Proven record in growing follower count and building an online community of raving fans at a DTC business/personality/brand that converted into strong revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of metrics and KPIs that indicate strong social performance; ability to analyze data to improve strategy and optimize social performance
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to repurpose marketing materials to effectively create curated organic content
  • Ability to create content for BetterWay’s social media needs such as filming, editing, etc.
  • Experience identifying and activating influencers to build a community
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Exceptionally organized with a strong ability to multitask and work independently
  • Experience with editing video content (via Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut)
  • Knowledge and experience with Photoshop
  • Experience using Sprout Social and Meta Business Suite

Responsibilities

  • Run Social Media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) through Meta Business Suite and Sprout Social
  • Execute creative i.e. graphics, photos, and videos for all of BetterWay’s social channels including Instagram and Facebook for both paid and organic social
  • Coordinate with the Events Director to attend events to capture photo and video content to distribute across social media platforms via stories and posts/reels
  • Identify, activate and manage influencers to build community and drive revenue from Instagram
  • Identify and develop UGC to support paid and organic social on Meta
  • Ensure our social channels reflect BetterWay’s brand and messaging
  • Plan and execute a social media strategy and content plan, aligned with our marketing and content calendars, to support core business KPIs, drive awareness, traffic, and revenue, and making BetterWay a friendly, educational and approachable brand
  • Plan and execute launches, promotions, and events on social media platforms to support go-to-market (GTM) strategies and drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Ideate new scalable social content opportunities and campaigns that are impactful, communicate core brand themes, and drive audience growth & engagement
  • Monitor, analyze and develop daily/weekly/monthly reporting on social metrics
  • Propose recommendations, effective strategies, and actions to optimize and grow our social strategy, using relevant analytics
  • Stay up-to-date on current social trends, providing insight and action to create compelling opportunities for BetterWay
