Babson has launched BetterWay™ blood testing, a first-of-its-kind ecosystem designed for primary care and family medicine, supporting annual exams, chronic condition monitoring, and screenings. BetterWay expands access to blood testing by using a pea-sized amount of blood collected from a fingertip by trained healthcare professionals in convenient locations without the need for a phlebotomist.

To drive the adoption of BetterWay, Babson Diagnostics is searching for a full-time Senior Stategic Account Executive to join our team and drive sales growth for our re-imagined diagnostic solutions. As a Senior Stategic Account Executive you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clinicians, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. This role reports to the Vice President of Clinician Relations and Business Development.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in clinical services. You should also have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and strong knowledge of the laboratory market and industry trends. The Senior Stategic Account Executive uses a consultative approach to understand the needs and challenges of the clinician and provide them with solutions that add value to their practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize value and consultative approach to engage stakeholders in the clinical, patient, and financial benefits of utilizing Babson BetterWay.
  • Secure sustained order flow and work with clinicians and clinical locations to increase the value they receive from BetterWay a.
  • Understand the challenges that each stakeholder is facing. T need to improve overall staff productivity.
  • Develop and mature a vibrant opportunity funnel.
  • Provide sustained support and consultation assistance to clinicians and office staff.
  • Maintain and update clinician records and sales data in our CRM (Client Relationship Management) system and prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Attend local trade shows, conferences, seminars, and training sessions to promote our brand and products, and to keep abreast of the latest developments and innovations in the laboratory field.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to provide feedback and suggestions for improving our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in clinical sales, preferably in a senior or managerial role.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of Value selling of clinical and medical solutions
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic products and services, and the ability to demonstrate and explain their features and benefits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software, and the ability to use various digital tools and platforms to communicate and collaborate with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused, with a passion for patients, clinicians, sales, and innovation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
