Background of Recruitment:

In the Industrial Automation market, automation for assembly and food production is advancing in the Industry 4.0 trend, and various requirements such as Industrial Ethernet, OPC-UA, security, and functional safety are emerging. Hereby the mid-/low-end market is expected to grow significantly. The IABD plans to expand product lineup of scalable ASSPs in line with the market expansion. In order to plan new products, it is necessary to develop IP that will be needed in the market several years in advance. Therefore, we are looking for engineers who can understand the technology trend and required specification in the market and promote development.

 

Responsibilities:

In order to expand Industrial Automation business, to formulate detailed H/W IP and S/W specification based on technology marketing requirements and promote H/W IP and S/W development and evaluation.

- Preparation of IP requirements and IP roadmap
- IP architecture study
- IP functionality and performance evaluation using FPGA and so on
- S/W driver specification study

 

Required Language Skills:

MUST

- Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in embedded H/W or S/W development

WANT

- Programming in C language
- Knowledge of OS such as FreeRTOS and so on
- Knowledge of arm architecture
