We are looking for a Senior Principal Embedded Software (SDK) Engineer to join our Connectivity and Audio Product Software team.

Job Summary

As a Senior Principal Embedded Software Engineer in Athens, you will:

• Drive SW Design and Architecture in the respective areas according to the SDK Vision and Roadmap and in collaboration with the SW Architects/ SDK Team Leads
• Propose frameworks that promote the quality of the Developed Software and minimize initial investment
• Propose development platforms that achieve either increased productivity or early stage development that secure the Roadmap or provide early visibility to future technologies.
• Mentoring, coaching and technical task supervision of more junior team members
• Dissemination of state of the art methods and processes to the team
• Promote innovation in the group
• Bring voice of the teams/stakeholders inside the Platforms team.
• Offload SW Architects in the respective area when needed.

Your Profile

Mandatory:

• MSc level with more than 14 years of deep working experience in Embedded SW development and SW methodologies
• Fully competent in all aspects of software engineering, concerning coding and testing.
• Excellent knowledge of embedded SW development and Processor Architecture
• Strong Proficiency in C programming and experience in design/development of software in deeply embedded platforms
• System knowledge (SW/HW)
• Working experience with Software development methodologies (Agile, SW testing etc.) and SCM (Git, SVN etc.)
• Working experience with 8-bit to 32-bit RISC processor architectures such as ARM and ARM Cortex-M
• Ability to prioritise work, set goals and meet deadlines for self and others.
• Very good customer interaction skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Human relations skills are important to convince others (e.g. in projects) based on technical knowledge and shows assertiveness to alert superiors/colleagues.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills – Extensive working experience with embedded debugging tools and programming in a resource constrained environment.

Desirable:

• Bluetooth LE knowledge
• Continuous Integration and Automating Framework frameworks
