Background of Recruitment:

Sales volume and profit of Renesas SPS are being growth, and being the largest sales volume in MIIPD.
It is necessary to strengthen the design team for meeting market demand of SPSs.
IPDD needs a circuit design expert who has enough capability to design mainly for DCDC convertor, and amplifiers, protection circuit and interface circuit.
Since the team is closely working with the design team/marketing team in US, we are looking for a lead engineer who has global mindset.

 

Responsibilities:

Development  mixed signal ICs for power supply applications.
[Target product] monolithic SPS(Smart Power Stage), which required heavy load current from several 10A to 　around 100A. 
[Project contents] Infrastructure, IoT and Mobile. Collaborating to USA IPDD, Japan team develops several monolithic SPSs that require high current and high switching frequency with small form factor.
[Job role] IC circuit design and verification with Cadence design tools. Evaluation of prototype samples in Lab.

Required Skills and Work Experience:

MUST

- To have sufficient knowledge and communication ability with Design engineer and Application engineer in global.
- Experience of product development & circuit design of Power supply IC or Analog IC.
- Familiar with Cadence design tools.

WANT

- Experience of Design team leader.
- Presentation/negotiation skill for customers. Work experience in English.
- Experience of bench test of DCDC convertors.
