Renesas System Solutions is looking for a business development manager for its product solutions to facilitate multiproduct sales based out in Germany (Office or home office)

The Job

  • Analyze existing product portfolio of embedded solutions (SOM/SBC Strategy) and identify gaps in Renesas and Partner offering
  • Analyze Renesas product offering versus embedded solutions needed
  • Drive Embedded System companies to add Renesas as processor platform
  • Identify key market segments / applications for embedded systems
  • Drive our SOM / SBC Strategy on a global base
  • Collaborate with local sales, FAEs and leadership team to identify, qualify and secure SOM / SBC opportunities
  • Actively engage with customers, distributors and local sales/FAEs to define, develop and promote Embedded Systems Solutions
  • Create informative presentations, flyers, tutorials; present and deliver information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
  • Sales enablement and internal training – develop presentations and support sales materials; ensure sales team and partners can clearly promote the value proposition of the solution, manage internal communications, and help to train sales and distribution teams.
  • Competitive intelligence – track key competitors and their activities, develop competitive analysis reports to help develop competitive go-to market plans.
  • Become an expert on Renesas’ Embedded System Solutions and demo / promote at key conferences and events
  • Cross-functional collaboration – build strong relationships with system engineers, local sales, FAEs and distributors and global solutions teams.
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintain short- and long-term business development plans

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent, an Electronics/Electrical Engineering degree is preferred
  • Experience in Embedded Systems based on ARM Processor Architectures
  • Knowledge of embedded processors, analog/power semiconductors and connectivity
  • FAE/AE or business development experience from previous roles in embedded processing industry is desirable
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Experience in working with internal teams and customers to assess and define market needs
  • Strong communication skills in German and English (written and verbal) and ability to clearly articulate technical information in a straightforward and compelling manner
  • 5 years in a similar position
  • Driver´s license
