Renesas is looking for pro-active and results-oriented 

 Staff Application Engineer – embedded Linux (f/m/d)

Based out of our Duesseldorf office in Germany.

 

Renesas is accelerating its effort to provide comprehensive software solutions for its RZ Micro Processing Units(MPUs) silicon solutions. This requires extensive embedded software support. As embedded Linux application expert, you are contributing to the software user experience for the increasing number of Renesas industrial automation devices.

 

Your Role:

 

Provide embedded software expert support for Renesas RZ/T & RZ/N MPU devices with focus on embedded Linux. Improve the software user experience by implementing Proof-of-Concepts, demonstrators, and sample applications. Consult customers and industry partners on the RZ/T & RZ/N software suite. Work closely with Field Application Engineers for customer engagement. Contribute to technical trainings for customers and field engineers. Communicate with internal development teams to improve software quality, solve customer issues, and suggest feature improvements. Verify, debug, and fix customer issues related to RZ/T & RZ/N MPU devices.

Your profile:

 

Proven experience to work with embedded Linux and embedded software development (tools and processes) Excellent customer focus with strong communication skills Self-organized, self-motivated independence of though Familiarity of Real-time operating systems Knowledge of industrial automation technology and stacks such as industrial Ethernet, motor control, functional safety, security a plus   We offer:   A transparent, agile, global, innovative, and entrepreneurial organization and mindset.
