Application Engineer for Wireless MCU (f/m/d)

 

To further strengthen our Automotive Analog and Power product portfolio within our European automotive Team based at our Düsseldorf location, we are looking for an experienced Application Engineer for Digital Key application (f/m/d), with focus on CCC Systems (BLE+UWB+NFC).

Main target is to perform application engineering activities for the Ultrawideband Microcontroller and its related system configurations.

 

The role

• Bring up and debugging of UWB-MCU related hardware and software
• Perform laboratory measurements and dedicated validation tasks of the related Product-Macros, like Radio, MCU, CAN, ADC, etc.
• Support requirement definition of next generation evaluation boards and starter kits.
• Provide onsite support at our customers to ensure smooth bring up.
• Prepare required documentation for Software and Hardware bring up and application notes.
• Define content and requirements for the product support package (collaterals) in the areas of Software, Hardware and Documentation.
• Perform Proof of Concept validation in cooperation with the laboratory team.
• Support participation of standardization activities (eg CCC, FiRa, IEEE, etc)
• Work in an interdisciplinary and cross-site project team in a global organization
• Author articles for publication in trade magazines and journals, application notes and whitepapers.
• Provide technical training to field team and customers.

 

Your Profile 

• Bachelor and above degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with min. 5 years relevant job experience in the field of passive keyless entry systems
• Experience in MCU Tool environment
• Good skills in programming language C
• Knowledge of scripting/programming language Python are beneficial
• Openness to travel
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills, creativity and analytic thinking
• Communication and interpersonal skills and team spirit
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), German would be an advantage
