［Background of Recruitment］

Renesas is providing various automotive microcontrollers and SoCs (RH850 and R-Car) to support CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services, Electric)

and AUTOSAR MCAL software for those devices. 

AUTOSAR MCAL is the key software that provides the foundation for automotive control and communication.

We are looking for a leader to drive the planning and development of AUTOSAR MCAL software optimized for Renesas' automotive microcontrollers/SoCs.

 

［Responsibilities］

Development of AUTOSAR compliant MCAL software for Renesas automotive devices and management of development team/projects (including domestic and

overseas members).

- Development of MCAL software common platform for automotive devices.

- Development, delivery, and user support of MCAL software products for automotive devices.

- Research on AUTOSAR specifications and technology trends, benchmarking, definition of development roadmap and requirements.

 

［Required Skills and Work Experience］

［Must］

- Embedded software/firmware development experience; More than 5 years

    - Software development project leader experience

    - Communication skills (Japanese and English) with internal and external stakeholders

［Want］

- Knowledge of microcontroller hardware

- Knowledge of development processes (CMMI, A-SPICE)

- Experience in AUTOSAR platform software development (BSW, MCAL, CDD, etc.)

- Experience in software development supporting ISO26262 functional safety
