Sr Validation Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Work with Power Management ICs
• Support product development life cycle from conception to release. This involves interfacing with multiple functional teams such as design, test, quality and other engineering groups
• Develop production and characterization test plans and specifications
• Design and debug hardware and software for lab validation and qualification purposes
• Perform bench testing to measure various device parameters in the lab for design verification, characterization and correlation
• Analyze measurement results and correlate the measurement between ATE and bench
• Support device level and package qualification activities
• Support failure analysis team with any qualification related failures or customer returns
Requirements:
• Development work in support of a broad range of analog circuits such as amplifiers, temperature sensors, sensor based analog front ends, PLLs, ADC, DAC and power management
• Automation using LabVIEW, Python or similar programming languages is highly preferred
• Extensive experience working with lab equipment for data collection as well as product validation
• Experience with bringing new products from definition to production release including characterization and reliability
• Coordinate new product development from initial design phase to full production release
• Develop test/validation plan and test coverage report
• Perform characterization and validation of new products
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Experience with a statistical data analysis tool is a plus
• Familiarity with failure analysis techniques and procedures is a plus
Education:
A technology-related bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering field or equivalent training and 3 years of related experience.
