About this role:

The Job:

Provide support for Renesas customers related to all aspects of MCU and required solutions.

Design Embedded firmware, application examples and a proof-of-concept solutions.

Efficient technical support for Renesas marketing/sales team in design activities.

Be an expert for ARM and proprietary based MCUs, peripheral and embedded design.

Lead/drive training and evaluation of Renesas solutions with customers and sales team.

Work closely with our core engineering team and build proof of concepts and solutions.

Ability to manage technical projects with partners and design house.

Create and present training material related to embedded applications and solutions.
Your Profile:
Education:
-
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering. (MS preferred)
Requirements:
-
8+ years of experience in developing ARM and Proprietary MCU-based and embedded products/systems.
-
Solid embedded programming experience [using C/C++ language] is a must.
-
Design and development of multi-threaded/multi-tasking applications using MCU-based RTOS.

Board bring-up and debugging for complex MCU based products/systems.

Good understanding of hardware design and schematic related to microcontroller and peripherals.

Extensive knowledge of various graphics hardware: RGB/MIPI-DSI LCD display, CMOS camera, graphics accelerator, and device driver designs for those.

Strong experience in embedded GUI software and ability to develop GUI applications such as gauge, dashboard, animation, video decoding, etc..

Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English and proactive, can-do attitude

Travel requirement: 25%
Desirable experience:
-
Familiarity with Capacitive Touch interface, its PCB design, sensitivity tuning is plus

Communications technologies including Ethernet, USB, TCP/IP, etc..
-
Experience in IoT connectivity system integration using wireless communications (Wi-Fi, LTE, BLE, etc..) and network protocols (SSL/TLS, MQTT, HTTP, etc..)

Machine learning experience is a bonus point.

Prior experience with Renesas MCUs is plus.

Security protocols and secure software design methods.
