Renesas has repeatedly conducted M&As with various companies, and we are working on a big project to integrate the systems with similar functions used by each excompany prior to the M&As into a single common system. We need to be able to smoothly deploy future M&As.
[Background of the recruitment]
We need to integrate our SCM planning system into one system. This new system is based on a major PKG cloud system. We need someone who can support a series of tasks such as system requirement definition, development, testing, user testing, etc., as well as system maintenance and operation.
On the other hand, there is also an ERP system integration, and the new ERP system needs to connect new interfaces with the planning system.
We are in need of personnel who can support the development of these systems and subsequent system maintenance operations.
- Project management (requirements definition, development, testing, user testing, etc.) for the SCM planning system, which is our area within the overall system integration PJ.
- Requirement definition :
Coordination with planners from all over the world within the Renesas Group (business English conversation skills are necessary to discuss with members from Japan, Europe, and the U.S.) to compile the requirements for the system.
- Development, testing :
Customize PKG by ourself based on the system requirements definition.
If development outside of PKG is required, the vendor will be notified, and system review and user acceptance testing will be conducted after development is complete. Technical issues are also included with the development vendor (SQL, Java, etc.)
- System maintenance and operation work:
Responding to requests for improvement from business users during system operation and improvement activities for stable system operation, etc.
- In the future, we are planning to try an inventory optimization function using AI, and we will also support project management, system development, and testing for this part of the project.
[Required Skills and Work Experience]
・Experience in a series of operations such as demand management to production planning for about a few years.
・Experience with SQL DB operations and web system development languages (Java, etc.)
・Intermediate level of Business English
・Advanced levell of Business English
