Job Summary:

 

REA Automotive Product Marketing - In this position, the successful candidate will be able to present MCU roadmaps to customers independently and answer routine questions about MCU features. He/she will participate with the global product marketing team to devise future products and strategies for marketing those products.  He/she will also develop marketing materials which describe existing and future products.

 

Job Duties 

 

  • Manage product and marketing strategy and roadmap for Automotive Microcontroller products. 

  • Take ownership of engagements with customers (OEM & Tier 1), and Sales/FAE supporting automotive accounts to increase design-ins, improve demand creation and maximize market share. 

  • Help prioritize customer support activities of product line applications engineers 

  • Analyze the market and provide inputs to the strategy and new product introduction. 

  • Drive competition analysis and benchmarking for best positioning of our solutions 

  • Work with the cross-functional teams in defining the new products and launching the products to the market 

  • Own the creation, positioning, dissemination of product marketing collateral (promotional and training) with tools on the web, via sales and distribution channels. 

  • Communicate effectively with management to report critical technical or business issues 

 

Job Requirements 

 

  • The candidate should have a BSEE with 5+ years or MSEE with 3+ years of industry experience in microcontrollers or related applications engineering. 

  • Strong marketing and analytical skills complemented with strategic thinking 

  • Experience with Automotive customers and applications is desired 

  • Self-driven, strongly motivated individual capable of taking full ownership of his activities, and involving other functions in the company or management when needed to bring them to a successful outcome 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and comfort in presenting to a wide range of audiences, including to the executive team. Must be comfortable presenting technical topics to a technically savvy and demanding audience. Capable to communicate issues in a concise and effective way 

  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal cross-functional teams 

  • Occasional domestic and international travel will be required
