Job Summary:
As an AI Senior Manager and part of the global IT organization in Renesas, you will play a crucial role in establishing proper usage framework guidelines and facilitating the integration of AI technologies across our global business groups. You will be responsible for ensuring that AI solutions align with our strategic objectives, meet security and regulatory requirements, and drive business value. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI Strategy and Governance:
- Develop and implement an AI IT strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Establish governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to AI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business units, product teams, and data scientists to understand their AI needs and challenges.
- Act as a liaison between AI teams and business groups to facilitate communication and ensure alignment.
- AI Project Coordination:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects.
- Define project scopes, objectives, and timelines, and ensure successful project completion.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks.
- Consultation and Training:
- Provide guidance and consultation to business groups on the selection and deployment of AI technologies.
- Offer expertise on best practices, potential use cases, and ROI analysis for AI initiatives.
- Develop and deliver AI training programs for employees to enhance AI adoption and understanding.
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of AI initiatives on business outcomes.
- Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of AI implementations and recommend improvements.
- Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and select AI vendors and partners as needed, ensuring they align with company objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to maximize value and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in AI strategy, governance, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across different regions.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and ethical AI practices is a plus.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Japanese and English language proficiency
