Sales Engineering Intern

Our sales team is looking for a talented Electrical or Computer Engineering student to join our team this Summer as a Sales Engineer in our Farmington Hills, MI office. Our team sells semiconductor solutions to automotive Tier 1 accounts. The successful candidate will work directly with the Director of Sales, Automotive Stratefic Account Sales Team, Field Applications Engineers, and Business Development Engineers during their internship. An intern working with the team can expect to learn about semiconductor products, automotive EE architectures, and automotive semiconductor sales and meet with Tier 1 automotive suppliers during their time with our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the sales process of developing block diagrams, designing semiconductor products, sales forecasting, and achieving growth targets.
  • Learn technical sales account management skills.
  • Interface professionally with customers to understand their technical needs and challenges.
  • Learn semiconductor devices and propose automotive electronics solutions.

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering - Junior level or higher.
  • The candidate must be located in Southern Michigan.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have the ability to understand semiconductor devices and solutions.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills.
  • Motivated, responsive, and driven personality with strong organizational skills.
