• Lead Software Architect for Renesas wireless connectivity product Software
• Responsible for translating customer and marketing input to software specs
• Key contributor to Renesas' software products roadmap definition
• Set out a strategy to accommodate industry standards into our SW and HW platforms
Principal Accountabilities:
• Develop world class Software architecture for Renesas' low power wireless connectivity silicon products
• Develop a SW architectural strategy for our product portfolio
• Deliver clear specifications of software architecture to SDK development team
• Drive platform SW developments with the SDK team and ensure deliverables are meeting the specification
• Define key performance indicators (footprint, CPU utilization, ...)
• Support marketing activities and participate at customer meetings to help understand customer needs and identify improvements and evolutions needed in the SDK platform
• Scanning of related technologies and market trends; competitive SW architecture analysis
• Presenting Renesas' technology and visions in customer meetings and relevant internal meetings (e.g. management updates, ...)
• Lead Software feasibility phases for new wireless connectivity products
• Drive technical decisions with the right stakeholders (e.g. technical leads, PMO, management, ...)
