Within the Business Development team at Klook Philippines, we have two exciting opportunities: Associate, Business Development and Senior Associate, Business Development. These positions play a crucial role in identifying, establishing, and nurturing partnerships with various stakeholders in the travel and tourism industry.
Applicants will be evaluated for consideration in either of these positions based on their relevant experience and qualifications.
What you’ll do:
Assist Business Development Managers on local inventory tracking with quality assurance for Tours and Activities (city must-do’s, island tours, land tours, water activities, indoor/outdoor activities, etc.)
Responsible for Activity Operation including content edit request, product and promotional package onboarding, time slot management, and vertical template migration
Conduct regular product price parity and product content qualities and accuracy checks
Support team’s daily operations, including but not limited to responding to queries through customer support channels and training merchants on how to use the extranet
Assist in additional tasks and ad hoc projects as required by the Business Development team
Support the development and maintenance of a high-quality portfolio of Tours and Activities (city must-do’s, island tours, land tours, water activities, indoor/outdoor activities, etc.) for Klook’s rapidly growing, global customer base
Acquisition: Acquire a diverse range of merchants across different industries, from key accounts to local players in a scalable way. Support onboarding of products and coordinate with merchants, operations, content, finance, and quality control teams.
Account management: Cultivate relationships with partners to help maximize their sales potential on Klook. Communicate Klook’s business strengths and brand value to suppliers, and create merchant success plans for long term sustainable partnership. Provide training and daily operational support to suppliers on our processes and tools.
Optimization: Commit to delivering world class travel experience to our customers, in terms of pricing, inventory, content, exclusive privileges, maintain at a market leading position at all times.
Coordination: Collaborate with various functions in the company globally - marketing to maximize sales, supplier operations to improve efficiency, customer services to drive satisfaction and repeats, finance to ensure accurate payment and minimize risk. Flexibility and attentiveness to details are essential in our fast-paced environment
Market updates: Provide market leaders with relevant information on identifying market trends and competitor updates
What you’ll need:
At least 2-4 years work experience with 1 year of destination management or OTA supply experience. High familiarity with travel products, experience with account management, back office operation, or admin experience preferred but not mandatory
Travel/Tourism background is preferred but not a must
Fluency in business English is required, both spoken and written for global cross functional collaboration
Prompt, organized and meticulously motivated to improve product experience
Quality focused: Always striving to give your best in what you do, willing to learn and open to feedback
Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds
A start-up attitude - highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that's not afraid to work independently when required
Quality writing skills and designing skills are a plus
