What You’ll do:
Develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of transportation products for Klook’s rapidly growing global customer base.
Acquisition: Acquire a diverse range of merchants across different transportation sub-categories, from key accounts to local players in a scalable way. Support onboarding of products and coordinate with merchants, operations, content, editorial, and quality control teams.
Account management: Cultivate relationships with partners to help maximize their sales potential on Klook. Communicate Klook’s business strengths and brand value to suppliers, and create merchant success plans for long term sustainable partnership. Provide training and daily operational support to suppliers on our processes and tools.
Optimization: Commit to delivering world class travel experience to our customers, in terms of pricing, inventory, content, exclusive privileges, maintain market leading position at all times.
Coordination: Collaborate with various functions in the company globally - marketing to maximize sales, supplier operations to improve efficiency, customer services to drive satisfaction and repeats, finance to ensure accurate payment and minimize risk. Flexibility and attention to detail are essential in our fast-paced environment.
Market updates: Support vertical/market leaders to identify market trends and provide market & competitor updates through on-going research and feedback
Delivery: Success in delivering on product portfolio and sales targets, as well as other strategic KPIs as agreed with the senior team.
Collaborate: Work with various teams with diverse working cultures, located in different Klook offices.
What you’ll need:
Minimum of 5-year experience in Business Development/Account Management.
High familiarity with travel products, experience with transportation preferred but not mandatory.
To be fluent in English is a must for global cross functional collaboration.
Understand the virtues of aggressive results through a graceful approach.
Successful track record in acquisition and partnership management.
Strong commercial sense, as well as analytical.
You will need to have a high level of written and verbal communications skills.
Globally minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that’s not afraid to work independently when required.
Bachelor degree in hospitality or business management preferred.
