What you’ll do
Develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of attraction, tour, transportation and activity (Things To Do) products for Klook’s rapidly growing, global customer base.
Acquisition: Acquire a diverse range of merchants across different industries, from key accounts to local players in a differentiated way. Drive onboarding of products and coordinate with merchants, operations, content, finance, and quality control teams.
Account management: Cultivate relationships with partners to help maximize their sales potential on Klook. Communicate Klook’s business strengths and brand value to suppliers, and create merchant success plans for long term sustainable partnership. Provide training and daily operational support to suppliers on our processes and tools.
Differentiation: Commit to delivering a differentiated world class experience to our customers, in terms of pricing, inventory, content, exclusive privileges, and maintain a market leading position at all times.
Coordination: Collaborate with various functions in the company - marketing to maximize sales, supplier operations to improve efficiency, customer services to drive satisfaction and repeats, finance to ensure accurate payment and minimise risk.
Market Intelligence: Provide leaders with relevant information on identifying market trends and competitor updates.
Operations: Support and train new joiners in the team on tools and processes
Leadership: Build and lead a strong Business Development team in the region to deliver tangible results.
What you’ll need
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Development / Account Management
Familiarity with e-commerce and/or technology is a must
Experience with travel products, experience with attractions, activities, tours and transportation would be advantageous.
Proven ability to develop and retain high quality talent
Operational excellence mind-set and experience. Data driven. Excellent problem-solving skills.
Adept at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions.
Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience; additional qualifications in relevant areas highly desired.
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships across all levels and effectively adapts to varied situations.
Analytical with a strong bias for data-based decisions, able to gather and synthesize data from multiple sources
Team Player with the ability to work across a matrix environment in a fast paced environment and constantly evolving environment
English language skills are a must
