The Entertainment/Events team is a core focus area for our Experiences team in Singapore. From theme parks, attractions and shows, events and entertainment, to tours and sightseeing, the team aims to provide world-leading coverage of travel and leisure activities for our customers around the world.
What you will do:
Develop local and international entertainment/events products for Singapore, including concerts, musicals, art & culture exhibitions, festival events, sports and leisure events through cultivation of relationships with local and international partners and to help maximize their sales potential on Klook platform
Acquisiton: Reach out to event/show organisers and venues to bring profitable events onboard to Klook platform. Support onboarding of products and coordinate with operations, content and marketing teams.
Account management: Cultivate relationships with partners to help maximize their sales potential on Klook ’s various distribution platforms. Communicate Klook ’s business strengths and brand value to suppliers. Provide training and daily operational support to suppliers on our processes and tools.
Event support: Providing on-site assistance as needed. Able to work independently, handling on-site operations and coordinating with part-timers as required. Maintaining close collaboration with organizers for seamless execution.
Coordination: Work closely with various functions in the company - marketing to maximize sales, supplier operations to improve efficiency and customer services to drive satisfaction. Flexibility and attentiveness to details are essential in our fast paced environment.
Optimization: Continuously ensure the quality of products, in terms of pricing, inventory, and content, maintain a market leading position at all times.
Market updates: Provide leaders with relevant information on identify market trends and competitor updates to optimize business strategy - through assisting on data analysis, preparation of reports
What you will need:
1-3 years of work experience in Business Development or Account Management, preferably Entertainment/Events related. Fresh Graduates with relevant internship experience would be considered
Familiarity with Travel/Tourism products, especially in the Entertainment/Events industry would be advantageous. Understanding how API connectivity works is a plus
Prompt, organised and meticulously motivated to prioritise tasks on hand and to improve Klook merchant experience
Can work under pressure, meet deadlines, critical thinking, willing to learn, ask questions and open to feedback
Operational excellence mind-set and experience.
Analytical with a strong bias for data-based decisions, able to gather and synthesize data from multiple sources
Excellent problem-solving skills. Open to administrative tasks
Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience; additional qualifications in relevant areas highly desired.
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships across all levels and effectively adapts to varied situations
Comfortable with (MS Office, Google Docs / Sheets / Slides)
A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude that’s not afraid to work independently when required
Team Player with the ability to work across a matrix environment in a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment
