What you’ll do
Grow, expand and maintain a high-quality portfolio of attractions, tours and activities, mobility for Klook Hong Kong & Macau as a destination.
Acquisition: Identify high quality & business potential products based on current domestic & inbound demand and bring them onto the Klook platform. Supervise the onboarding of products, with the support of local operation team members, editorial and quality control teams.
Account management: Cultivate relationships with a diverse range of partners to help maximize their sales potential on Klook’s various distribution platforms. Communicate Klook’s business strengths and educate the brand value to suppliers to strive the best for customer obsession.
Optimization: Continuously ensure the quality of products, in terms of pricing, inventory, and content in order to maintain a market-leading position at all times.
Coordination: Work closely with various functions in the company - marketing to maximize sales, operations to improve efficiency, revenue to optimize pricing, customer services to drive satisfaction and repeat purchase, finance to ensure accurate payment and minimize risk, and vertical planning team to secure marketing funds from suppliers.
Market updates: Identify market trends and provide market & competitor updates through ongoing research and analysis together with internal data stakeholders.
Influence: Represent Klook to build our profile with key destination influencers in the country (e.g. DMOs, tourism bureaus, trade organizations, etc.).
Leadership: Help to build and lead a strong business development team to deliver tangible results in each of the above areas. As an agile and fast-growing company, this person should prepare for expansion, redundancy, coaching, evaluation and strive for upward mobility of the entire team.
What you’ll need
>10 years work experience on Business Development/Sales Portfolio management with at least 5 years team management experience. Experience in destination management or OTA supply is preferable. High familiarity with travel related products, experience with attractions, activities, tours and transportation preferred.
Strong team leadership skills with track record on team/talent management experience
Strong commercial sense and self driven to explore new business opportunities
Strong business analytical skills to provide reliable business solution using data
Strong client facing experience with high expectations on negotiation and presentation skills
Confident, highly self-driven, self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves’ attitude.
Fluent in both Cantonese, Mandarin & English, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
