Description
OurCrowd currently manages a portfolio of 57 funds, with several more in advanced stages of development, along with co-investment opportunities driven by underlying funds and other specialized pipeline projects. This is a unique role within a rapidly expanding segment of OurCrowd's business.
As a Funds Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the Funds team to lead technical projects, conduct research on investment opportunities, and gain valuable exposure to the fundamentals of the venture capital industry.
Responsibilities
Investment Support:
- Prepare written investment materials for follow-on investment opportunities of OurCrowd's existing portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investment decisions.
Reporting:
- Build and maintain a quarterly reporting framework across all OurCrowd funds and co-investment opportunities.
Tracking:
Utilize Salesforce, Excel, Airtable, and/or other database management platforms to manage various tracking needs:
- Funds Tracker: Create and maintain a global venture capital (VC) fund tracker to monitor trends and identify when existing funds may consider raising new rounds.
- Pipeline: Develop and maintain a pipeline of all opportunities reviewed by OurCrowd.
- Network Database: Create and maintain a database of relationships within the fund world to support business development and sourcing efforts.
Administrative Support:
Manage internal administrative responsibilities, including:
- Coordinating materials for fund launches and fund closings.
- Responding to Investor Relations requests.
- Building presentations and other materials for new OurCrowd funds, fund update presentations to investors, and internal updates for the fund team.
- Research:
- Conduct industry research, market analysis, and investment due diligence.
- Conduct research on industry trends and sector-specific data to support fund selection decisions.
Process Improvement:
Provide support in optimizing and enhancing the current internal processes.
Requirements
- Two years of full-time job experience in a related field (financial institution, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, or equity research experience, law, technology, startup)
- Professional-level English and Proficient Hebrew
- Strong skills across Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Skilled in research and organization with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience presenting ideas in group settings.
- Capable of working independently at a high level of performance.
- Adept at interpreting data and offering insightful conclusions and recommendations.
- Work from the Tel Aviv office 4 days a week.
