Description

OurCrowd is seeking a highly experienced Portfolio Management Director to join our portfolio management team. This role will focus on guiding and assisting OurCrowd’s portfolio companies in the MedTech sector, providing strategic investment oversight and value-added support.
Responsibilities
- Oversight and active management of a large portfolio of multi-stage venture capital investments, focusing on MedTech.
- Proactively lead follow-on investments and syndicate investor participation.
- Build a network of co-investors, corporates, and commercial partners to support portfolio companies.
- Present and justify investment theses to OurCrowd’s Investment Committee, particularly in MedTech investments.
- Analytically and inquisitively conduct financial modeling; have the confidence to question company management on business assumptions.
- Provide post-investment support to portfolio companies with strong commercial understanding that will provide guidance on all business matters.
- Sit on company boards, providing governance and identifying transformative opportunities for additional investments.
- Opportunistically seek new deal flow in MedTech sectors.
- Provide opinions on any MedTech companies presented to the Investment Committee.
- Assist Investor Relations with the company and deal intelligence to prepare them for investor calls.
- Manage the quarterly reporting process for both internal stakeholders and limited partners (LPs), ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Manage a team of associates and analysts.
- Strong technical understanding of venture deals and cap table modeling, with an emphasis – if need be – on recapitalizations and capital recoupment
- Represent OurCrowd positively within the broader VC ecosystem, interacting with other funds, directors, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field (venture capital, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development), with a strong focus on MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences investments.
- Active role in investment rounds in the startup echo system
- At least 3 years of experience with financial modeling
- Proven leadership experience
- Native English speaker
- Excellent, clear, and concise writing skills
- Excellent presentation skill
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced & dynamic working environment
