Company Overview:

SaNOtize is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Medical Affairs Manager to join our team. Sanotize is planning on multiple product launches in the US and Canada in the coming years. We have developed a series of novel, topical anti-infection products that will launch in dermatology and other specialties. These are groundbreaking products providing tools for physicians to achieve better outcomes for their patients.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an individual with either marketing or medical affairs experience who is comfortable being a sole contributor as the first dedicated marketing position in the company. This role will drive market launches for our products in a 25-person start-up environment. This role will create marketing materials to support the newly formed sales force, will create physician education materials, will organize (directly or through vendors) physician education events including webinars and in-person events, and will manage trade show participation and preparations. Over time the group will grow and these roles will be split among several marketing team members. At the start, this is a marketing team of 1 reporting directly to the CEO. We seek a self-starter who can take the lead on several initiatives to make the product launches effective for our new field sales team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Marketing Materials and Strategies:

  • Create and execute a branding strategy for our product line and for the next product launch
  • Work with ops team on product packaging to facilitate ease of use for customers
  • Create sales educational materials for sales team and physicians
  • Create sales support materials
  • Create email and other digital marketing outreach materials to physicians
  • Create/lead webinar development for physicians to educate about new products
  • Lead trade show participation at 2-3 trade shows per year in the US/Canada

Content Development:

  • Develop and oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including white papers, case studies, presentations, and educational materials tailored for medical professionals.

Medical Affairs:

  • Create medical affairs support materials and processes to respond to inquiries about how to use our products.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement:

  • Collaborate with KOLs to gather insights, endorsements, and testimonials for marketing collateral.

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute participation in industry conferences, symposiums, and other relevant events to promote products and build relationships with healthcare professionals.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends, and use the insights to refine marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in marketing within the skin care, personal wellness, cosmetics, biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, regulatory processes, and healthcare compliance is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear and compelling messages.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in engaging and managing relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical field is a plus.
