HR Business Partner

Shield is a global startup, with offices in Tel Aviv, New York, London, and Lisbon. We’re rapidly growing and looking for another important piece of the puzzle - We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team!

In this role, you’ll be the key trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring that people’s strategies enhance organizational performance while fostering a supportive work environment.

You’ll collaborate with the business units to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, drive employee engagement, and support a high-performance culture.

We are looking for a person who possesses a combination of people understanding, in-depth and process-oriented thinking, as well as business understanding and a practical attitude. Someone who combines high analytical skills, a can-do attitude and genuine curiosity for people, organizations, and technology. This combination of soft skills and business acumen is challenging, but it is crucial for succeeding in this role.

This position is located in Israel, in our office in Ramat Gan. We work in a hybrid mode, and you’ll be reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with team and group leaders, senior management and employees to proactively drive talent strategies that engage and retain our management, leaders and employees
  • Partner with managers and employees to implement and oversee key organizational processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, learning and development programs, performance management, talent development and retention, organizational changes, and professional growth."
  • Analyzing and interpreting HR situations which require knowledge of local labor law, HR processes, and the application of policies, practices, and procedures
  • Partner with other HR functions and talent acquisition to deploy and execute HR programs and strategy
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals, execute and evaluate training programs (working with OD & Learning manager)
  • Be the developer and protector of Shield’s culture and values, acting proactively with the entire org to identify and eliminate gaps, and making Shield a good place to work at.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years' experience as an HRBP in high-tech companies
  • Supporting global teams – a must.
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management and organizational development
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a hands-on approach, demonstrating resilience and agility
  • Passionate about creating a positive workplace culture and helping employees reach their full potential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and full proficiency in English
  • Builds strong relationships with employees and managers, fostering a collaborative and consultative approach.
  • A go-getter: On top of the strategic perception, this person should also be a doer, who is target oriented, works according to clear planning and timeline, and knows how to make things happen.
  • Continuous Learner: Stays updated on HR trends, best practices, and industry developments.
