Your principal responsibility as a Security Analyst on the Product Management team at Stellar Cyber will be to create both proactive and reactive content in the platform to help our customers improve their security operations programs. Content refers to in-platform configurations such as playbooks, rules, dashboards, reports, charts, and queries. Proactive refers to work such as getting basic compliance reports or fundamental SOC playbooks in our platform. You will be required to analyze general security trends and translate relevant parts to Stellar Cyber to improve the product. Reactive refers to an unfolding security event that requires a rule or query released to customers as quickly as possible so they can determine their impact. In addition to this principal responsibility you will also contribute to Stellar Cyber’s internal security program which includes operating the Stellar Cyber platform. Finally, you will create training and enablement content where applicable to help customers adopt best practices and get the most out of Stellar Cyber.

Responsibilities:

• Own in-platform content including playbooks, dashboards, reports, charts, and queries
• Define and own the content roadmap based on customer impact, requirements, and gap analysis
• Construct, test, and deploy content
• Perform threat hunting and available Stellar Cyber instances to inform content generation
• Operate Stellar Cyber’s internal instance of Stellar Cyber for internal security
• Create relevant training and enablement courses for customers
• Interview users to discover product opportunities and validate designs
• Collaborate with the product management team on full vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Support field teams in shipping product, supporting customers, and closing deals
• Perform product analysis on platform and user trends

• 3+ years experience as a security analyst
• Ability to solve generic customer problems through analysis and content
• Strong security knowledge foundation spanning detection engineering and compliance
• Strong networking foundation
• Technical skills in scripting, Linux, and query languages (e.g. SQL, Lucene)
• Excellent oral, written, analytic, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and effective in a fluid environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
