Position Summary:
Swiftly is searching for a senior web developer who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project delivery, actively participating in the development lifecycle with a focus on front-end development. This role will lead web projects from inception to deployment, contribute to the creation of reusable components in alignment with design specifications.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver projects and understand trade-offs of different implementations
  • Understand trade-offs of different configs (run-time, build-time)
  • Understand the end-to-end data flows
  • Work with team members to deliver projects
  • Work with designs to create reusable and shareable components
  • Connect API’s to the components
  • Create tests around logical components
  • Author and Review Pull Requests
  • Collaborate with backend service colleagues to integrate APIs seamlessly into front-end components
  • Strategize bandwidth optimization techniques for scalable solutions
  • Implement comprehensive unit tests for logical components
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of JavaScript
  • 5 years of CSS 3.0+
  • 5 years of HTML
  • Experience and understanding of SSR, ISR
  • Experience with serverless
  • Experience delivering customer facing products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Typescript
  • 5+ years of React
  • 3+ years of Node.js
  • 3+ years of a framework such as Remix, Next.js, Angular
  • Experience with Storybook
  • Experience with Unit Testing (examples include Jest, Cypress)
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL
  • Experience with ADA
  • Experience with security
  • Experience debugging build issues
