Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility inclusive of definition, training, and execution for the onboarding process of new customers and additional business of existing customers.
  • Ownership of the process from the early stage of customer engagement through the actual onboarding phase to handover to customer support and account management.
  • Thorough analysis of customer requirements with feedback in terms of feasibility, effort, and risks.
  • Acting as the main touchpoint for customers in the onboarding phase.
  • Identifying opportunities in the onboarding process to further extend business with the given customer.
  • Planning, coordination, and control of work orders in onboarding projects.
  • Support of the sales team in negotiations with potential customers.
  • Supporting the development of the core product of SHIPSTA through communication of customer requirements to create the greatest possible added value for all customers.
  • Continuous optimization of processes, e.g., through automation, documentation, and standards.
  • Providing ongoing support to customers after onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition to the support and account management teams while addressing any post-onboarding issues or concerns to maintain customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Requirements

Basic Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the logistics industry and logistics purchasing processes.
  • Experience working for Freight Forwarders, Logistics Procurement, or Logistics operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing B2B enterprise projects.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of customer requirements and needs.
  • Strong affinity for digital and software solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in working with ticketing software.
  • Project management experience.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills across various professional contexts.
  • Skilled in effectively communicating and collaborating with clients and colleagues across the world.
  • Enthusiasm for agile, dynamic, and fast-growing business environments.
  • Availability to travel 5-10 times a year.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous work experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Additional languages are a plus (German, French)
  • SQL knowledge.
