We’re looking for a Customs Import Specialist to join our team and help ensure smooth clearance for our clients’ products at the border.

• First up, you'll be diving into import customs documents, making sure they’re fully compliant. No rogue paperwork will slip by you.
• Spot something missing? Or notice a detail that’s a little off? You’ll jump in and fix it like a customs superhero.
• You’ll be classifying goods using the correct HTS codes—because getting that right is crucial for smooth sailing through customs.
• You'll channel your inner teacher, going the extra mile to explain to customers what they need to provide and why, all in the clearest and kindest way possible.
• Got a call from a customer needing urgent help? You’ll step in with solutions for complex, time-sensitive files, making sure they’re sorted ASAP.
• Keeping track of government agency requirements for customs clearance? That’s just another part of your day.
• You’ll be the go-to person for free-trade agreements and know exactly when to apply them for maximum customer benefit.
• Anti-dumping and countervailing duties? You’ll handle those like a pro.
• You’ll keep a sharp eye on files with arrival notices, prioritizing them, and working closely with the outreach team to make sure any missing information is quickly gathered and followed up.

• Handle any unverified tickets with speed and accuracy—nothing gets past you!
• Keep learning by attending training sessions so you’re always in the know about the latest compliance regulations.

• You’ve got 5 years of experience in customs brokerage or something pretty similar.
• You are comfortable applying HTS classification.
• You know your way around customs regulations, and import/export documentation like the back of your hand.
• Communicating clearly? That’s your jam. Whether it’s writing or speaking, you make complex things sound easy.
• You can juggle a ton of tasks at once without breaking a sweat, all while sticking to tight deadlines.
• Helping customers is what you live for, especially when it means guiding them through complicated processes with patience and care.
• You have an eye for detail and are super organized—nothing slips through the cracks with you.
• Tools like Microsoft Office and G-Suite? You’re already a pro.
• Experience working with customs software.
• If you know a thing or two about free-trade agreements or anti-dumping duties, that’s a huge bonus.
