Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and unlock new sales opportunities utilizing all available sales tools (CRM – Hub Spot, Calling, LinkedIn, Offline events) with a strong focus on acquiring new customers.
- Qualify leads and keep your database clean, work together with a Business Development Manager in a team.
- Schedule appointments for online demonstrations for prospective new customers, both onsite and remotely.
- Understand the needs and requirements of potential customers within the logistics and procurement environment, providing tailored solutions that meet their specific challenges.
- Analyze customer potential, identify decision-makers, and generate sustainable interest
- Maintain and expand the database of potential new customers within your assigned sales territory, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurately reflects the market landscape.
- Participate actively in conferences, meetings, and industry events, representing the company and building valuable industry connections.
Requirements
Basic requirements
- Interest in the logistics or supply chain sector either in operations, customer support or sales with a passion for leveraging that knowledge in a sales role.
- A desire to gain experience in B2B sales within the logistics technology industry, with a proactive and ambitious approach to learning.
- Strong communication skills, including eloquence and listening actively, coupled with strong presentation capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in both English and German, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- A collaborative spirit and resilience in the face of setbacks, with the ability to tackle the challenges of a fast-growing company in a solution-oriented and hands-on manner.
- Availability to travel twice a year.
Preferred requirements
- Training in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, or higher education qualifications.
- Additional language skills are considered an asset.
- Experience in Sales
- Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
- Experience in LogTech industry Logistics/Supply Chain plus Technology (Logistics SaaS)
