About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solutions Engineer who is interested in the logistic industry and passion for delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to freight executives. In this role, you'll work closely with the sales team to drive new customer acquisition and expand our reach within existing accounts. Your success will be measured by customer adoption, satisfaction, and your overall contribution to the team’s growth and business achievements.
As a Solutions Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to understand customer needs throughout the sales process, assess the feasibility of existing solutions, and demonstrate how our products can meet those needs. If necessary, you'll collaborate with the team to explore potential product enhancements. You'll work in close partnership with the sales, product, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer success.

Responsibilities
- Support Sales and Account Management with solution mapping
- Understand clients business needs, recognize additional (non-obvious) optimisation potential
- Translate use cases into actionable solutions
- Design and present solutions to (potential) clients
- Guide the customer independently through the proposed solution and achieve a mutually acceptable result on your own responsibility
- Create product demos, concepts, proof of concepts
- Act as the liaison between customer-facing teams and Product/IT to align solutions with customer needs and foster long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with Product to transition promising enhancements or solution ideas into the roadmap process
- Support the onboarding team to implement the best possible solution with the available means by configuration / customization
- Support the sales team in answering technical questions
About You
Basic requirements
- Proven experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role of 2 years or more
- You have a deep understanding of software solutions, up-to-date web technologies and technical concepts, and ability to clearly communicate them to diverse audiences
- You create product demonstrations and and present them to customers
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with sales, product, and engineering teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- You enjoy working with customers and internal teams and have a Customer-centric approach
- You are collaborative and a team player
- You have experience with complex enterprise solutions
- Excellent listening and analytical skills to identify customer needs and problems
- You have the ability to explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand and creative way.
- Regular Travel required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and a self-motivated, results-oriented approach
- Enjoy solving new challenges and constant further development
Preferred requirements
- Experience in the global logistics industry and know what FCL, AWB and TEU stand for
- You come from the Logistics / Supply Chain industry and understand our customers’ needs.
- Previous role visualising processes and end-to-end IT solutions focusing on Logistics/Supply Chain software
