We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team of data experts. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work directly with customers to quickly understand their greatest problems and design and implement solutions using data. In this role, you’ll apply your problem-solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive a real impact in the world. Responsibilities

  • Acquire, clean, and improve data quality through Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure data readiness for analysis and modeling.
  • Deploy and integrate machine learning models into production environments, ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms such as APIs, pipelines, automation systems, and chatbots.
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs to facilitate the integration of machine learning models and other software components with external systems.
  • Optimize Python and Spark code for performance, scalability, and efficiency in large-scale data processing and machine learning tasks.
  • Perform tasks related to cloud services on platforms such as Azure and AWS, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Document processes, models, and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • +3 years of experience in Python and Java (Spark) programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge and +3 years of experience with Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with machine learning models, both supervised (e.g., regressions, random forests, SVMs) and unsupervised (e.g., PCA, clustering).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including setup, configuration, and resource management.

Additional Qualifications

  • Certification in relevant cloud services (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Experience with chatbot development and integration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing Linux environments is a plus.

Travel Requirements

  • The role requires travel to customer sites one or two times a week.
