Working Student Procurement (f/m/d)

We are currently looking for a Working Student Procurement (f/m/d) to support the Procurement Department in implementing a Center of Excellence concept, especially for the new Vendor Risk Management Process. The focus will be on conducting Risk Assessments and managing Vendor Data. This is an important contribution to the compliance with legal requirements such as the German LkSG (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz).

In this role you will:

• Assist in evaluating and managing vendor relationships to ensure compliance with wefox policies and standards
• Conduct risk assessments on potential new vendors, analysing financial stability, security protocols, and contractual agreements
• Conduct risk assessments on legacy vendors for all of the existing contracts across various wefox Legal entities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess vendor risk management completion as per the process
• Assist in developing and maintaining documentation and reporting related to vendor risk management and procurement activities
• Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements to enhance vendor management processes
• Support Procurement team for Procure to Pay and Source to Contract digital process implementation
• Support Procurement team with Centre of Excellence concept implementation

What you bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master programm in Procurement or Risk Management
• Analytical skills, basic affinity for IT
• Self-motivation and self-organization
• Conversational fluency in both, English and German
